This is a delicious surprise at Level One called Snow Corn. A ball of corn kernels flavoured beautifully then coated in finely grated sheep's cheese and a sprinkle of cayenne pepper

Super fresh in season sushi with very tender tuna belly, delicious aburi scallop and raw garfish - a first for me. Level One Electra House really steps to the plate

Tried this Japanese red ale at Level One Electra House restaurant where the setting is beautifully elegant and the menu has touches of Japanese influence. The food is delicious and presented well though the price is probably too high for what you get. Stay tuned for our Omakase (feed me menu) experience.

Where can you find a Reuben Sandwich like that in Adelaide you ask. Green's Sandwich Bar is the answer. Toasted rye, melted cheese, a stack of meat ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Bricks & Stones cafe in Unley makes some pretty awesome burgers with house made sauces but this Vegetarian Burger with haloumi and beetroot totally blew us away!

Still on Green's Sandwich Bar, this is their grilled herbed chicken and chickpea salad.
Classic Bacon and Egg Bagel at Green's Sandwich Bar down at Glenelg. These guys fast became our favourites with great sandwiches and salads. Situated along the tourist strip of Jetty Road, it's a small corner cafe that seats about 15. Their Bagels are from Bagel Boys and they're good.

It wouldn't be Thai without Pad Thai. A strong finish at Zaep. I do wish them all the best, I think it will be a success if the food is anything to go by.

A new Thai restaurant has opened in North Adelaide and we were invited for a preview launch. Zaep taste of Thailand offers a mix of fusion dishes and Thai Street Food. This steamed curried fish mousse was a hit! Great flavours.

Prosciutto wrapped dates and Arancini are great for sharing. Something a little different at Riad Mezze.
Morrocan style Battered fried oysters with orange from Riad was really yummy. Crispy hot batter with a plump fresh oyster inside. ๐Ÿ˜
How about some Tapas? Riad Mezze is a fairly new player in town and their tapas/mezze menu boasts Mediterranean flavours with great variety. My favourite out of this lot wad the Pipis with Chorizo in a creamy sauce. Oh my! The good surprise dish? Carrot and Quinoa Bake (top left next to bread).

I love Southeast Asian Flavours and this Shredded Chicken Banana Blossom salad in coconut dressing was super delish for me. Also by Mrs Q Asian Kitchen.

Mrs Q's Asian Kitchen is a Thai focussed restaurant although it's a more modern fusion of Southeast Asian cuisine. The venue is large and decor is eye catching with a big feature mural on the wall in the back of presumably Mrs Q in traditional wear. Food is pretty decent here with generous portions. This is their Salt & Pepper Eggplant dish

Here's some more goodness from Let Them Eat, vegetarian and vegan eatery. In the back we have their Sweet Potato, Spinach and Feta Tart and the Arancini ball is a pumpkin risotto Arancini ball. Both equally delicious and filling.

These days Adelaide has much bigger vegetarian and vegan dining options. You no longer have to put up with boring dry salad or be forced to order the one and only vego dish on the menu. There's even a vegan festival. Anyway one such place that surprised me as a meat eater is Let Them Eat. Starting out as a food truck they now have a few stalls in the Market and shopping centres Their vegetarian food is really delicious. Here I have the 'Mac not Cheese' crumbed and fried over a bed of kale & black bean salad and chickpea salad.

Ruby Red Flamingo is my favourite pasta restaurant. Best tasting beautiful fresh pasta in town! There's always a wait no matter what day it is but there's a bar upstairs where you can hang out while waiting for a table. Here is their Squid Ink Linguine with prawns. Mama mia!!

Sunny's Pizza is one of the coolest places to chill out and enjoy good wood oven pizzas. Their menu is simply divided into pizza and not pizza. This Fried Squid is off the not pizza menu and it is GOOD. Served with caper leaves and nduja romesco. So good.

I had a great charcutterie board and now a great Cheese Board featuring South Australia's very own Woodside Cheese Wrights cheeses. They are amazing cheeses, especially in the goat's cheese category.

More from Restaurant Blackwood. This time, perfectly seared Tuna on couscous. New discovery for me was lilly pilly powder. A lovely touch and definitely noticeable on the taste buds. It's tangy.

Now that's what I call a Charcuterie Plate. Restaurant Blackwood is the sister restaurant of Orana which has just won best restaurant in Australia. Headed by Jock Zonfrillo there is a focus on foraged and native ingredients. This plate has some beautiful cured meats, shaved rump cap and a super smooth mousse like liver parfait. That's just the beginning.

Pork Belly. I almost always order it if it's on the menu and I want that crispy crackling. The pork was tender and flavoursome though the crackling more chewy than crispy.

Anybody like some Beef Rump steak from George's on Waymouth? It's an establishment that has been around for a while, popular among business diners with a decent wine list. They are consistent but I wouldn't say the food blew me away

Hahndorf is the German town in Adelaide. It's also the place to get German food with the variety of sausages available, ribs, pork hock, pretzels and schnitzel! This is my Pork Schnitzel with extra gravy and mustard.

Paella is a great party catering option. Comida Catering Co. have a stall at the Adelaide Central Market if you wish to sample first but I can tell you it's good and authentic.

More yummy brunch goodness from Karma & Crow with this Cornbread and Chorizo. They try to keep the menu seasonal amd fresh here so things change from time to time. Again another winner. Love this place!

Karma & Crow is one of the best spots for lunches. Always busy, always a line but it's worth it. The food is innovative and interesting and most importantly bloody delicious! This is their Ricotta Pancakes with spiced apples, mascarpone, rose fairy floss and maple syrup

I reckon this is the best Chicken Burger in Adelaide. Burgastronomy is a humble burger bar with a small menu and beer selection, beef burger's just OK but their Chicken Burger and Sweet Potato Fries are the best! Very crunchy and well seasoned coating, tender juicy chicken thigh with soft brioche bun. Makes me wanna eat one right now!

Just got delivered a box load of South Australian Cheeses by Edward's Crossing and Maples Cheese courtesy of Beston Marketplace. I love a good cheese platter and simply can't wait to try these out.

A sandwich bar opened up in Glenelg on Jetty Road not so long ago. It soon became our favourite stop after walking the pooch for a bite of brunch. They make fantastic sandwiches that just taste so so good. Here I am enjoying the Salmon Bagel. More to come.

If there's anything we are good for it's our wineries and cheese platters. So many wineries to choose from, 4 regions, endless vineyards and share platters to enjoy with friends. This is one of the lesser wineries to be honest but the cheese platter was a good mix of savoury cheeses and sweet bites.

Every tried to makes these Buffalo chicken bites? Homemade pizza dough, rolled out thin, stuffed with buffalo chicken and mozzarella, wrap and roll into ball then bake. Perfect party or game day snack. So so good!

Smashed Avocado, Poached Eggs, Roasted Cherry Tomatoes and seeds. Breakfast of champions at The Moseley. Sitting outside on Moseley Square on a Sunday after a Glenelg beach walk in summer is perfecto!
