Every tried to makes these Buffalo chicken bites? Homemade pizza dough, rolled out thin, stuffed with buffalo chicken and mozzarella, wrap and roll into ball then bake. Perfect party or game day snack. So so good!

A break from restaurants. I made some Chetinad Chicken and it was super delicious! Hubby lapped it all up with my coconut rice.

Brownie Sundae at St Louis dessert house is ah-mazing! St Louis started out in the CBD and has since expanded to 3 very busy branches. They specialize in ice cream and make awesome churros. This was had down at Glenelg, perfect place to catch up with friends.

If you're ever wondering about Afghan food try Parwana. It is absolutely delicious, moreish and makes you want more. This is their signature Mantu with lamb mince sauce and yoghurt. I'd recommend sharing here and do get a serve of kabuli palaw to go with those delicious meats. For vegetarians the eggplant dish is great!

Fancy some Dim Sum? Or as they call it here "yumcha". Empress Restaurant is one of the newer players and are proving to be strong. Their pastry and sweets are worth highlighting. On the left we have Durian Puff, flaky golden pastry with creamy durian filling. On the right we have Black Sesame Fried Balls with a fragrant sweet black sesame paste filling.

The best Cuban sandwiches in town can be found by Henley Beach. Hermanos Cubanos makes some great sandwiches, good choice of generous fillings and they've got the balance just right. We got ours with a serve of Sweet Potato Chips with Chipotle Aioli. They also do an amazing battered turmeric fish. The batter is so crispy and fragrant while the fish just melts in your mouth.

Sir Cafe is a bit of a secret to some. Not really knowing what to expect it doesn't pop up on many people's radars. The desserts are pretty to look at and delicious. From a range of waffles to cakes with a good variety of flavours this is an Asian and Western dessert house all in one. This is the Green Tea waffle with green tea ice cream, red bean amd strawberries.

If you're looking for some Asian street food style cheap eats Chinatown food court is a good place to start. Just beside the Adelaide Central Market you will find a variety of Asian cuisines. Ricky's Chicken Rice has been there for years and every now and then I'll get some Hainanese Chicken Rice from there complete with his specialty green sauce.

a spot of homecooking throwback here. Blue Swimmer Crabs are in season from September to April, we often head down to jetties and sand beaches to catch them. It has a lovely sweet flavour and when you catch them yourself it is oh so fresh!! Can't wait for crab season again, make sure you dont exceed your bag limit and throw back the small ones to make it sustainable for everyone! This is my Singapore Chilli Crab using freshly caught blue swimmers in Adelaide.

Thanks Jason Goldberg ! One of my personal favourites
Starting the day right is very important for a productive day! Bricks & Stones is only less than a year old but it has become such a regular spot for us. The menu is interesting and utterly delicious, also good vegetarian options and most of all, good coffee. One of my favourites for brunch there is this vege packed dish (with added bacon). It has broccolini, zucchini, snow peas, snow pea tendrils, green beans, smashed avocado, quinoa, seeds and grains and a perfect poached egg on top. All the veges I need!

One of my favourite budget quick eats is Bing's on Moonta St, Chinatown. Easily get a meal for $10 here. It's predominantly a dumpling and noodle shop. This time I had their special Szechuan Spicy noodles. It's not super chilli spicy but it's tongue numbing from the Szechuan peppercorns so don't be fooled by the non-red appearance of this noodles!

Hello Turmeric Latte. Ever had one? It's a little bit spicy, definitely an acquired taste but delish and comes with health benefits. I don't have caffeine so this is my indulgence when my friends are having coffee. I must admit not everyone makes a good one but Nutrition Republic in Hyde Park pleases. They also do a crazy good Matcha Latte. Bricks & Stones in Unley don't advertise it but if you catch the right barista on duty you can request one, he puts a bit of nutmeg in and uses coconut milk. So gooood.

Le Souk means "The Market" and what a perfect name it is for this charming stall in Adelaide Central Market. These guys serve Algerian food and their breakfast menu is a refreshing change from the usual muesli or bacon and eggs. First thoughts were I love their servingware! I tried some chakchouka and lamb sausage one fine morning and it had beautiful flavours coming from the spices used. They also sell middle eastern sweets and pastry desserts.

Everyone's raving about the burgers at Fudd's. Unfortunately I find it overrated and yes I tried it 3 times - same result. The beef patty just seems to be lacking that nice grill flavour and juiciness. The double cheese and bacon Mr Foodie went for is a classic combo. I had one with rocket, roasted capsicum, cos lettuce, jalapeno and cheese. Didn't really work 😕

If you love your wings you must must must book in for GSH Wings Night at Gilber Street Hotel on Thursdays. $10 per kilo of wings, 4 flavours available and hotwings is my fave. It's that popular you even need to pre book how many kilos you want. Great vibe, casual, finger licking good wings and nice brews on tap.

Is anyone else obsessed with Poke Bowls? It's kinda new to us in Adelaide but Beach Bum Kiosk is the place to go for Hawaiian fusion food. This is their Tuna Poke Bowl - fresh tuna, seaweed salad, edamame beans, papaya, pickled ginger, spring onions and garnishes. So fresh and delicious!
Hot Tip - Try the Tuna Burger and Coffee Beef Salad!

A bowl of Bun Bo Hue at Vietnam Quan in Marion Shopping Centre. Not bad though soup is lacking depth of flavour and the spiciness isn't really there. Also would've liked a few more slices of meat.
Last but not least - Pad Thai! This was a little on the sweet side for me but still a fragrant dish, love the crunchy peanuts.
Roast Duck Pancakes were a hit too, these guys are on a roll. 😄
Salmon Zaep was a fresh citrusy light dish. A fantastic way to get the appetite juices going. More dishes to come!
this spicy and tangy pork meatball is pretty darn good too. Zaep has brought their A game.
next up some incredibly beautiful Steamed Fish Mousse and Fillet in Curry Paste.

Got invited to a new Thai Restaurant launch called Zaep Tastes of Thailand on O'Connell Street, Nth Adl. The food seemed promising and the passion is definitely there. We started off with some savoury Sago Balls and dived into this Gai Golek (marinated grilled chicken) straight after. Good flavours and the chicken was still juicy. Stay tuned for more preview photos.

Arroz Con Mariscos at Mestizo Cocina Peruana. Seafood rice cooked in aji mirasol and rocoto with a perfectly cooked barramundi fillet, mussels and calamari. Though using two types of peppers it’s not a spicy dish, just a very tiny kick to lift the flavours.

The only Peruvian restaurant in Adelaide and they are so so ridiculously good. This Tiradito is definitely in my top 5 ceviche type dishes in Adelaide. The flavour balance is spot on, the textures and acidity are on point. Renzo and Justin are just really really good at what they do.

Dinner tonight for the first time at the German Club. all these years I thought it was a community club not realizing there's a restaurant and bar serving one of the top 10 schnitzels in Adelaide. Just so happens there was a cancellation tonight so we got a table. Live music downstairs and 70s disco night upstairs. Doors opened at 6pm and the tables filled up in 10 minutes!

Another pretty one 😍💖💕
On the topic of brunch Karma & Crow in Richmond is one of my top favourites. It's a combined creative space and cafe so there may be workshops and exhibitions from time to time. The food here however is a stand out with interesting flavours and innovative twists. Pictured is the Sticky Roast Pumpkin with caramelised chickpeas, baba ganoush, chilli kale and whipped feta. A great combination of flavours and textures. 5 thumbs up from me!

Hallett Cove Boardwalk is one of the most scenic walks that runs along the beach. Especially on a blue skies kinda day. The walk isn't easy, it's very up and down but our tiny little dog killed it. 3.5 hours later.....😰😰😰

Also from Mister Sunshine's this is a classic done well. Bacon and Egg sandwich in brioche bun with chilli jam.
Check out this juicy Chicken Burger from Mister Sunshine's! Located just outside the city near the Entertainment Centre this is a rather hidden place among the industrial buildings. A relaxed vibe with plenty of outdoor dining and totally pooch friendly. They take pride in using fresh good quality produce . I found that overall their meals were healthier with fresher and cleaner tastes while remaining delicious.

One of my favourite authentic Italian restaurants in Adelaide is Antica Pizzeria e Cucina. The original restaurant is in Hyde Park but the newer restaurant on Morphett Street, CBD has a bigger menu. These are their Polenta Chips with house made sugo sauce. Crunchy on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside.
