Did you know modern architecture is also kind of a big deal in Portugal? In particular, Alvaro Siza has led the country in fantastic design and even a cup of tea or two. Find out who this badass is and where you can see his work around town http://www.atlaslisboa.com/alvaro-siza/

There's a new service to help people compare prices between different rentals in different neighborhoods around Lisbon and it's kissing some serious ass! We did an interview with the guy behind it all and found out some really important information on finding a place right for you and your budget in town. Check it out! http://www.atlaslisboa.com/rentindicator/

I meant to say kicking, not kissing! Auto correct sucks. :(

The morning view from my window always makes me feel like I made the right choice to live in Lisbon. Some people aren't into the old antennas on the terra cotta tiled rooftops, but I think they are incredibly romantic. What do you think? Should they all be removed?

I built a fish sculpture from ginja tree branches, dried grapevines, and wire. If this isn't the most Portuguese sculpture on the planet, then I don't know what is.

Restaurant by day, club by night, this spot serves interesting fusion cuisine with three to four daily changing meals and some snacks and deserts. Try the chocolate brownie with ice cream for a bit of daytime decadence, and go for a cocktail at night to continue the trend. The concerts and parties held at night (usually for free entrance) draw in a big crowd, so the bouncer has to deny entry to people at around 2h on the weekends. There are loads of fun events going on over there, but the one that we can highly recommend is Afrobaile, a great party once every month or so. Enjoy!😎

The Champalimaud Center for the Unknown isn't your average structure in Lisboa but it sure is one of the most elegant modern spots in town. Walking through it time warps you into the future...and the future looks bright! Well worth a visit if you are between Belém and Algés and have had your fill of antique stuff. ;)💥

Found a very cool old aqueduct and got to explore inside! I found a frightened bat (he was cool-don't worry) and at least 75 meters of tunnels. After 60km of biking it was a very welcome surprise just outside of #setubal

I phinally tried the pho in the Saldanha Atrium for lunch and it wasn't too shabby! I could have used some fresh basil instead of only mint, but the. Roth was light and tasty and the noodles were just right. Not bad for a shopping center cafeteria- I hope the pho trend continues! Pho-sho!

The Capella dos Ossos in Évora is a chapel made entirely out of bones of the former monks who lived there. While certainly creepy, it is a testament to life and devotion. We can all celebrate that (and snap a pic or two to remind ourselves). Happy Wednesday!

ponta da piedade has a hidden beach accessible by foot and careful scrambling. Start at the lighthouse and walk to the beginning of the parking lot- follow the dirt path down and hold on...it's slippery but worth it. In 10 minutes you'll be in paradise with a natural arch and caves all around you. Heaven!

Ponta da Piedade near Lagos in the Algarve had tons if caves to explore from the ocean. This one was totally empty from the hoards of kayakers today so I got totally lucky to paddle in on my own. The water is warmer than usual so swimming without a wetsuit was a pleasure today. super nice!

Sometimes you just gotta have Chinese food. If you've got the craving whilst in Lisbon, you're in luck: Mr. Lu's restaurant in Arroios makes a killer beef in a wok, amazing hot and sour soup, scrumptious Chinese veggies, and it serves super cheap JP red wine (5€ a bottle!). I went here for dinner the other day and tried their fish platter to attempt something new and it was blown away. You can't go wrong when you do the Lu!
