Pepo was founded in February 2016 by Jason Goldberg, Sunil Khedar, and the product development team that built and scaled Social Median, Fab.com and Hem.com. Pepo is backed by investments from Tencent, Greycroft, Vectr, Oriente, and several prominent angel investors.
