Old city Phuket is very hipster and worth visiting. Very different from the touristy party areas in Patong. The big Buddha in Phuket is also great.

Take a boat trip from Phuket to nearby islands if you can.

In Bangkok, see several other Pepo channels in Bangkok and Thai Food Stories for some great tips!

I came across this 19th century photo from Nepal! Finding Nepali photos is rare, so I thought I would share it with you.

Here is a great example of a photo technique called a frame with in a frame. To achieve the effect, take a photograph through a door or window. This gives the subject two frames, that of the door or window and the edge of the photograph.

A friend sent me this photo of the Taj Mahal. It is covered in camouflage during the Indo-Pak war of 1971.
